We’ve had rain!!!

I woke after 3am to the sound of rain lashing down, it was lovely to hear. I’m not sure how long it rained for, but we will need a lot more to make a difference. 

I did some tidying up in the garden, this is the area where the hedgehogs feed, so I’ve moved the dead leaves to give a better view. The Japanese anemones usual provide a good show but these are a bit tatty. 

Late afternoon I worked on my coat for a short period. I have a sewing session later in the week and want to get to a hand sewing stage for that day.
