Cooling Cucumbers

The field where we walk Merlin most days is as dry as we have ever seen it. This is the view across the community orchard, towards the church. Looking like we may get a little rain over the next few days, I really hope so.

I went to the allotment this afternoon and returned with a pile of courgettes and cucumbers. Andy used the courgettes in a lasagne and the cucumbers were used with a yogurt and mint side dish.
