Thunder rumbled, lightning lit the sky and the rain poured on and off for most of the night. As a consequence I feel rather low on energy today and haven’t managed to go to the allotment as planned.

Instead I have had a haircut, pottered in the garden deadheading and walked with Andy and Merlin twice. The teasels in the dog walking field are just coming into flower - they always make us smile.
