Cool...

What a difference a week makes.
This time last week, the heat was building up to those alarming, record-breaking peaks. Now it's cool and fresh in the garden, where some leaves (like this aquilegia) are already taking on their end-of-season colours.
We looked after Frieda for much of today, so that Jack and Marianna could go to the Tramlines festival in Hillsborough park. They'd been given some tickets by friends who couldn't go, and there was also a band in the afternoon line-up with another friend of theirs playing in it. All went well.
