Bit of a change of weekend routine.. Did foodbank on Saturday morning and Dad, J and G came for lunch. Bought a chicken which had been ready marinated fromSainsburys and roasted it with potato salad, Otto lenghi salads and salsa verde(borrowed idea from D). Strawberry shortcake for dessert. All worked well but forgot to take photos. Used my new steps but noticed two yellow stains on them which weren’t there yesterday. Think it could be cat pee- grrr!
Today I had a slow start and did weekend chores and a few jobs on the list. Saw an advert on Facebook for lavender. Someone had cut down their lavender hedge and was giving the cuttings away. Went to collect some- plan is to make lavender bags……..we’ll see…….
