Monday: Corner

I tell you, for my last week at work, and considering it was a temporary assignment, meant to ‘keep things ticking over’, I’ve been tippy-tapping away today like a good ‘un.  I grabbed this shot on the way home as I pass this building regularly.

I bumped into someone in the office today I hadn’t seen for a while. ‘Aren’t you nearly finishing here?’, she said.  Yes’, I said, ‘Friday’.  ‘Have you enjoyed it?’, she said, looking like she was expecting the obvious affirmation. There was obviously some hesitancy on my part, ‘Erm, yes, it’s been fine’.  

Seeing the look on her face I explained, ‘we’re just west coast, through and through’.
