Persicaria Red Devil

The electrician is around fitting me a new fuse box and for the moment, replacing two indoor sockets and an outdoor socket.
Think there could be a fault with my downstairs circuit so it could be a bigger job than first anticipated, whatever, it needs sorting.
Obviously no power in the house so l may not be able to comment until later as l have only 30% charge left on my iPad.
Should be using this opportunity to get some de cluttering done but to be honest l can’t be bothered.
One of those jobs you really need to be in the mood for.

So it’s a shot of this Persicaria that belongs to the knotweed family.
The leaves are variegated in shades of red and the whit flowers are so, so tiny.

Should be going to the rearranged, last local ballet of the season, postponed from last week. It’s an evening session then out for a glass of wine at Pranzo in Ben Rhydding. 
It will mean catching a bus or train home even though it’s only two miles away, so l may give that part a miss and just drive there and do the ballet.
