Day 4

Passau - Linz 59 miles
What a fantastic day. The weather was a cool 20*, perfect for cycling and the path along the Danube was very gently undulating - making it an easy ride. We crossed the border to Austria shortly after leaving Passau, where the scenery soon changed. We had 40 miles of cycling along the gorge, the scenery was stunning. We crossed the Danube 4 times, once across a dam - where a lovely fellow cyclist carried my bike up the steps, 2  ferries and a bridge. Lots of cafes en route and the 59 miles just rolled along. Now in Linz, staying in a cow themed hotel!
