Mardi Gras

Today's the day ...................... for a garden tour

It's a wonderfully orange and yellow time of the year - with a bit of purple thrown in for good measure.

I love the way the garden looks just now, overflowing with bright colours like these Helenium 'Mardi gras' and the yellow 'red hot pokers'.  I've just been for a bit of a garden tour to see it all before we go away tomorrow for a few days.  We have a good friend coming round to keep the polytunnel watered - but all this lot will have to look after themselves, whatever the weather.

And by all accounts, it might be quite good where we are heading.  Watch this space .......................!
