Wine Making
The grapes had been fermenting for about a week with the skins and everything just floating around in what looks like a disgusting mess, but now the second phase begins with all the 'detritus' of the must being filtered out and the fermenting juice simply doing its stuff in the demijohn. After a slow start the bubbles increased in speed, which is a very encouraging sign.
Other than that we had grapefruit and croissants for breakfast and Dan came round for a while (see extra) before we went off to our church gathering. Still waiting to hear back on the inspection for the plane sale but hopeful we might complete it this week.
Trying to work out a trip to see my dad in Australia beginning of December though it seems tickets are expensive around that time - will have to keep looking for deals.
