Magic, The Gathering

On my daily trip to BG, I had a couple of heart-warming moments which makes me so glad every time these happen that we decided 16 years ago to create this coffee based community.  Here in the photo, Ireland and her boyfriend on her day off came in to play their board/card game at on of the tables over a cup of coffee!  On top of that, one of our long time regulars is M, who has some neuro diverse issues and spends his whole day most days at the coffee house.  We have an arrangement that his family provide him with $5 each day and he can drink as much coffee as he wants - it has apparently been a life-saver for him to be able to hang out each day.  We ar now going cashless because of the recent break in and we had to work out a way to manage M's payments - so his mum came in to get a gift card for his use over a month and it was so encouraging not only to hear his mum's gratitude for BG, but also how M was able to introduce her for the first time to all his friends that were hanging out at BG when she came in.
