Crocosmia

A warm, still, sunny day up until mid afternoon when it clouded over but still warm. The back garden was filled with buzzing bees and I was happy to see the one small tortoiseshell butterfly again. This crocosmia is very bright and vibrant and seemed to be a favourite to some wasps! You can just make out a little face to the right of the middle of the picture.
