Anticipation

Every morning I take my proper camera on the dog walk hoping to catch the combine harvester in action.  The fields are more than ready and there has been no proper rain for weeks. But once again this morning a no-show... can't wait to see those big machines get going around here!

In less exciting things to look forward to, COVID feels very close.  It has now affected colleague Andrew's family and one of the friends we socialise with regularly, and my last vaccination dose was in November 2021.  Although, happily no one has felt too bad with it, I've spent much of the week working from home, but am kind of waiting for the inevitable....
