Oakworth! Oakworth!

I headed over to the Keighley and Valley Railway this afternoon. The line is famous for the 1970 Railway Children (1970) film and the more recent The Railway Children Return (2022).

Bernard Cribbins, who has sadly passed away today, starred in the original 1970 film. I will always have fond memories of him on television and in film.

The main blip shows Oxenhope Station which is at the end of the line. The extra is Oakworth which was the featured station in the films.
