Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 241

Boot Camp season has opened on Porty Beach. There were also rowers, kyakers, joggers, dog walkers and a sprinkling of sand castling families hoping the sun and warmth, out of the breeze, would hold all day. Not sure it will.

Last night I went to the premiere of Sleepless 'til Seattle. A film and illustrated presentation by two intrepid Edinburgh (Porty) cyclists who rode across the USA last summer. Last August I came across the cyclists, Graham Kitchener and Pauline Symaniak, on Porty sand, filming a map of their US route drawn in the sand. It features in the trailer too.

Talking of films have you all seen the amazing Blip montage movie "Lovers of Light"? I think it is amazingly effective.
