Friday: Figs and Tomato Flowers

There’s a total of 5 figs this year, lots of embryo figs too but they never grow to full size.
All the tomato plants in the greenhouse have lots of flowers but so far no fruit setting, whereas the outdoor tomatoes have less flowers but already half a dozen tiny fruit. Don’t think it’s pollination problem as there are many bees in the greenhouse on the Passion flowers and other salad plants which have flowers on them, decided to leave the door open today for insects to have better access and to cool the greenhouse down a little, we’ll see if that does the trick!
Washed bed linen which dried very quickly with the sunshine and the breeze - enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of Montalbano “Terracotta Dog” a cup of tea and a blueberry muffin … 
MrD on deliveries all day and finished late afternoon.
