Flower Friday

After a hectic week, we de died to go to the beach this afternoon and we both went in for a dip, very pleasant and moderately warm. Not a long going on there but we did spot three young herring gulls squabbling with their Mum over a food morsel.
I took some photos in the garden after the heat of the day had gone and quite like this clematis, a wonder it has survived after all this heat. 
We are now settled down watching the swimming at the Commonwealth Games.
