Herd

One of a few calves that have joined the herd along Sconce Lane.

I walked over to the far corner of the moor at Birch Close Lane. It was mostly overcast but warm enough for a few butterflies earlier in the walk, including the first few of the second brood of Wall. 

The smaller paths on the moor are hard work at the moment, with bracken more than head high and brambles snaking across ready to trip you up as you battle through.
