Crown Prince

It's been wanting to rain for most of the week but we've had nothing more than a sprinkle here and there.

I hate it when I can't keep up with the watering because of lower back/hip pain. My pumpkin patch desperately needs more water than I can give it, some of the small fruit have rotten and started dropping off.

This 'Crown Prince' is a good performer whatever the weather throws at it and there'll be at least a really good size pumpkin from this plant.

It looks like it's started to turn grey which means the skin is hardening and will resist attacks from squirrels and other things.
