Salt marsh

A bit of a grey day to start with and spots of rain as we wandered the salt marsh at Thornham. The weather suited the landscape really although a bit of colour in the sky would have been welcome. Weathered jetties and former quays dot the marsh and make for some interest. We headed a little further along the coast for fish and chips and ice cream to follow - Bailey had some fish but wasn't granted any ice cream. Back to Burnham Market and a read in different locations. And then we have walked into the village after tea to walk Bailey and had a lovely chat with a local resident. It's due to be wet tomorrow so we'll not be going far we don't think.
