Flowers Everywhere!

Well today was Flower Saturday for me. I saw gorgeous arrangements everywhere I looked, from foggy morning to sunny afternoon. The rose is in our garden, and the Naked Ladies were along the rail trail where we took a walk. It's a wide paved path and well-suited to the walker that I'm still using away from home. 

For those of you who are still interested in the saga of the Corpse Flower, here is what the folks at the Arboretum had to say this afternoon after many  ups and downs and false alarms:

After careful consideration, we reached the conclusion that our Corpse Flower is truly a corpse. We do not believe it is going to bloom after all.

We will be performing an autopsy of the flower Wednesday morning at 10 am to figure out why the flower did not bloom.
