Red Regiment

Hamilton Bros, Bishopton. So good we visited it twice today. Or actually, we are so dense, so we had to visit twice today. Once to get the battery we had ordered for the lawnmower, the second time to get the acid that was required to make the battery work... We almost had to make a third visit as we didn't bring the battery back to get filled, so much scrabbling about to find a suitable receptacle to fill with acid for us to take home. Very helpful and patient staff, fortunately.

On the first visit I sat in the car and was in a wee world of my own. I only really noticed these as we drove away. Even JT commented they would make a good photo (although he didn't stop the car to let me try). So, perhaps the photography gods were watching over me and made sure I got home to where the camera was and then had to make a return journey.

Managed to get quite a few things done today including a bit of dog walking in the sunshine and catch up with the neighbours. Off now to do a bit of tidying before our guests arrive for a quick drink or two before we head out for dinner in Amaretto. Got to love a busy Saturday!
