Glasgow Gurdwara Opening Ceremony

I made a trip with Mum to the opening day at the Glasgow Gurdwara that I have previously photographed here. A fascinating visit with very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming hosts. I've added a few shots from the martial arts demonstration here.

In other news, the first sea swim of the year with Ken and Jenny in Troon this morning. The waves were bigger than I had expected, it was pretty windy and the air wasn't all that warm. The water was warmer than we anticipated. Chris (beach patrol duties since he was on call) reckons we were in for about 40 minutes. Afterwards, a leisurely breakfast at Scott's with lots of hot coffee. It was so good to be back in the open water and not be sore with the cold.
