Not just any yellow straight neck squash...

.... this is a Wisley yellow straight neck squash, grown in the World food garden next to the new Wisley Garden library. I think that makes it almost vegetable royalty.
We used half of it in tonight's dinner (see extra), but I'm not sure I would bother growing them.
