Inula in my garden

This plant usually dominates one corner of the garden at this time of year. However, another plant is making a takeover bid so these yellow flowers aren’t quite as obvious as they usually are. This particular flower has three furry buds around it which are covered in some of the raindrops that inconveniently decided to fall earthwards in the middle of the afternoon, just as I was trying to finish off several gardening jobs at once. Ah well, tomorrow is another day.
