First appointment done!

Phew I was concerned about seeing the nurse, but wow! She was so gentle. I had two large patches of dried blood I thought was stuck to me, but it was stuck to the dressing!
There are 26 staples and an awful lot of swelling, so she took alternate staples out and I will go back in 3 days to see how it’s doing, imagining the rest will come out then. She is hoping a bit more healing and swelling died down. Same place later time but same nurse I told her she was good, and gentle because she was.
I had a fruit smoothie this morning made by my husband it was so good, I’ve put a picture in extras.
