LOOKIN' FOR RAW MATERIALS

It's Tiny Tuesday......and here's a Honey Bee (Apis melifera) looking for some sunflower nectar from which honey derives.

They are hard workers and, literally, work themselves to death.  Average life span for a female worker from spring through fall time is 30-60 days and then she is replaced by other younger workers.

This should serve as a lesson to humans.....hard work is good but not to the death. You gotta take time to smell those roses as well as harvest their nectar.
