Tuesday …. again

Where did the week go since I was last off and going to the bugs, birds and beasts event!

Had woken just after 6am (I had fallen asleep in the chair and woke at 2am, so sleep already disturbed), comfort break and back into bed before 6:17 a call from AJs care home. She had fallen out of bed, rolled onto the crash mat but grazed her arm in the process. This had been dressed, no other injury’s and was well. Thanked the caller and said I would be in later to visit AJ. Couldn’t get back to sleep then ….

Walked the dogs, leisurely breakfast and then on to visit AJ. She had previously requested a dental appointment, so called straight away. Appointment given fir 15 mins time (they had a cancellation). Pushed AJ in her wheelchair over to the dentist through the park. Dental check carried out - no broken teeth (AJ was convinced she had a couple of cracked teeth), no fillings (not many teeth left to fill) and no change in denture (although AJ prefers not to wear it, uncomfortable). Returned back to the home, stopping off in the park on the way, then the need for a cup of tea drew AJ back into the home.

Not a bad visit, bit grumbly, moany but generally no change.

Out to dinner tonight - lovely evening for a short drive, roof down. Caught the tail end of the, sun.
