A rather disappointing evening. The local camera club was meeting at the weekly classic car night but there were only 4 cars there tonight. Usually there are 20 - 25.
I came back to Dartmouth to see some of the opening ceremony for the international canoe championship that is being held here this week. I thought there was supposed to be a parade of flags, but the only thing that happened on the water were the local canoe clubs paddling past. I was hoping they would come back, but the kids all had to walk back after the end of their paddle. I stayed there for about 45 minutes, but got tired of listening to all the bigwigs giving their welcome speeches.
