At last, I had the camera ready and caught the hummingbird having a rest in a tree this morning. I missed getting a photo of him at the nasturtiums just outside the window, so I kept the camera beside me. The several minutes later I looked out the kitchen window, saw her at the globe thistle, ran to get my camera and she headed for the back yard again. Back to the living room and I saw her land in the tree.
A sunny day, and it seems the humidity has gone for now. It is much easier working outside now and better for sleeping at night.
