Blooming II

The rose is coming along nicely. I admired it during tea breaks in the garden between video conferencing and dealing with various applications not working on my machine. I got there in the end.

We met up with Simon S in the eve. Normally, we'd go to see a film, but we'd seen all the ones we wanted to see so we chatted instead. We made an evening of it with dinner at Sole Luna. As we stayed right to closing time, we were gifted some Amaretto – delicious! They're lovely folk who run this restaurant (and I'm not just saying that because of the complimentary drink!)
