White Angled Sulphur
Another successful shift at the Butterfly House, another iPhone shot of a butterfly!
Over 600 visitors for our little attraction today is a record for a Wednesday, so we must be doing something right I guess :)
This butterfly is a White-angled Sulphur, from the family Pieridae and can usually be found in South and Central America. It is the same family as our own Brimstone butterfly but is much whiter when it’s wings are open, which is not often.
