Bug eyes

We spent the day enjoying the hospitality of my brother Brendan and his wife Sarah, along with Incredibish and Happy_Janwen.   After the most delicious meal with a superb raspberry dessert courtesy of Sarah we went for a stroll along nearby lanes and footpaths to help it settle down.  

Along the way there was a low flying airplane and even a kingfisher, although the kingfisher didn't stop long enough to have its portrait taken.  Instead I've settled for this male banded demoiselle sunbathing on a leaf.

Back home this evening, I'm horribly behind in reviewing the journals of those I follow on blip but it will have to wait until tomorrow I am afraid.
