Home is where the heart is

Had a very productive day today, clearing out stuff that I've meant to shift for ages. First stop was the tip, where I usually act all pathetic so they do all the work for me (being a woman comes in handy sometimes hehe!)
Back home, and a mammoth shredding session which included old bits of paperwork and (as featured in the blip) my remaining paperwork which would complete my application to emigrate to Oz.
Upon reflection, this time last year I was at rock bottom; I felt I had nothing left to keep me here. Australia is always seen as the land of milk and honey, so I decided to take the plunge before I was too old. Thankfully, I ran out of funds necessary to pay for all the different tests/forms etc, so put my application on hold until my house sold and I was in a better position to move.
Given yesterday's turn of events (see blip) and more importantly, the fact I have the amazing Mr A in my life, I'm glad things worked out the way they have.
I'm here to stay! :-)
