The Feast Day of St. John Vianney.
It has been a relaxing day, 17c outdoors with a cold breeze and 20.5c in the living room. We have had sunshine in the front room until noon, and then it gets very sunny in the kitchen until sunset.
I have been doing housework, social media,  following Mass online, and had a good walk this morning. I met a friend who lives up the road and she was carrying a lovely bunch of freshly picked lavender from her daughter's front garden.
She has a dog and looks after her daughter's dog. Both were having a good bark in their front window when I came past.
The BBC are going to do another series of Canal Boat Diaries which is good, because the previous series was really interesting. Some episodes are being re shown next week from Tuesday.
The best news of all is my daughter Maria is coming home for the weekend. She leads a busy social life, so I always enjoy it when she comes home.
