Jizzy

A brilliant concert at the Théâtre de pierres, a musical adaptation of the newly published novel by Patricia Duflot based on the life of the American jazz singer Jimmy Scott. Here Rachel Ratsizafy is singing his songs while in the background Églantine Jouve plays Scott. The author was there too and signed the copy of her book that LoJ bought. Once again, we're so lucky to have these performances only a few kilometres from home. The small theatre was packed, with extra chairs being brought in and people being squeezed into the last few seats minutes before the show began.
