Luxury hotels

Five new luxury hotels are currently being built in the centre of Granada.
Well, they're not exactly being built, it's just that some interesting old houses are being rebuilt as four or five star luxury hotels.

I must admit that it is good to see that these old houses will have this use because some of them were abandoned for years.

On the other hand, I am a little afraid that Granada will become a Theme Park for tourists, as has happened in many other tourist cities in the world.

In the extras you can see the site of two other future luxury hotels. One was the mansion of a wealthy family in Granada, the other was the headquarters of the Caja de Ahorros de Granada.

The building in my blip today was an electrical appliance store, it was built in rationalist style in 1934 and is one of the few examples of this type of architecture that exist in Granada.
