Heron

Down at the lake this morning I spotted a héron but it was tricky to get a shot as there were so many reeds in the way.

This morning we took the Torchon chairlift and, after a coffee stop, we had a walk up to the ridge. It was quite a surprise to see the back of the Dent du MIDI and the Dent du Morcles in the distance but action as the crow flies we aren’t that far away.

This afternoon, after it had cooled down, we used the ebikes to explore a bit more of the area.
