Northern beach
As we headed north today we were heading for a campsite a bit inland and close to Skellefteå. But we detoured a little to the coast where there seemed to be a good camper van parking place.
It was hard to find but when we got here it was so lovely we abandoned our plans and stayed here instead.
We are parked facing a sandy beach in a bay, with small waves shuffling in across a series of sandbanks. The picture is taken at a bay round the corner with a very small beach and the sandbar Jan is walking across.
We do live in a beautiful world!
Ps The beach is called killingsand, which sounds a bit threatening in English, but actually means “goat kids sand”, a rather gentle name.
