On the beach, with pelican

We walked to the village this morning, in warm and sunny weather. It was nice to see this young child admiring and not disturbing a nearby pelican, its impressive wings spread out to dry. I was hoping the boy's mother would spread her arms to mirror the pelican's wings. That wasn't to be, unfortunately.

Later we drove up to the Alstonville plateau, for a delightful lunch with blipper AussieJasmine and Roger. Then it rained.
