Abstract Thursday ...

... Frozen ... or just frozen in time?

Today was uncomfortably hot, hot, hot!  With a high temp of 94° F you can well image I didn't spend a lot of time outside!  And to answer the above question: nothing would stay frozen for long outside today!

I did, however, spend a blissful amount of time in the pool.  The water temp was just perfect.

In other news:  Later in the day when it had cooled off a bit we released three monarch butterflies ... all males.  We currently have three more chrysalids and seven small caterpillars in our monarch nurseries.  I've added an Extra photo of one of the males we released today.  Please view in the gallery view.
