Down by the Riverside

It’s been a while since I went down to the Don so I had a couple of hours down there this morning. It was pretty quiet and very pleasant. The highlight was the briefest sighting of a Kingfisher. There were plenty of Grey Wagtails have clearly done well this year - plenty of young around, monstrously difficult to photograph. Robins are much better at standing still.
