Paul and Maria on our country walk in Rishton.

The Feast of the Lord Jesus's Transfiguration.
Maria came home by train from Leeds last evening and today she went for a hair trim at the hairdressers where she used to go when she lived at home. Her hair is naturally straight and shiny and looks very neat.
Then after watching A Place in the Sun, we went for a 2 mile country walk. The blackberries are not ready for picking but will be ripe in about two weeks. The weather is close and sunny with a breeze outdoors and 16c.
We are having some cake and a drink now and looking forward to watching Pride and Prejudice this evening.
