The Eyes have It...........

..................she looked so appealing I could not resist her!!
We visited the Wildlife Ranch near San Antomio (where we are staying tonight -Saturday ) a few spits and spots of rain on the way but cleared up quickly and we did have some sun - very humid too. The Ranch was so well worth visiting - we got there about 10.45 am and were so glad we did as all the animals were around and as we had an open topped car, stuck their heads in to see what we had brought them - one ostrich had a brief idea that he might like a handful of Anni's hair!!!
One excellent thing is that once you have paid to go into the place, you can drive around as many times as you wish - which is great. The second time made us even more pleased we had come earlier than later as the animals were obviously not so hungry. There is a Petting Area too and food and drink are not excessively expensive. A super day all round.

We are now having the most horrendous thunderstorm!!
There has been a Festival in the city, the streets have been packed and are now under about 6ins of water and the lightening is lighting up our room every few minutes!!
We shall see what tomorrow brings!!!!!
