Moist (Day 2648)

The weather today has been rubbish. I was lucky and didn't get drenched on my morning wander with Sigyn.
I spent the morning at home catching up on stuff and things. The lunchtime walk with Sigyn was a full waterproofs affair. The rain went off briefly, but waterproofs was definitely the sensible option.
When  my beautiful wife came home from work, we headed to Stromness, dropping Sigyn with Mum and Dad before heading to the horses. We stopped at the fish and chip van on the way back to Mum and Dad's, and I spent an hour standing in the queue in the rain. When I got back to the car and HV tried to start it, the battery was flat. Humph. Dad collected us, and after dinner B came to the rescue with jump leads.
Fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow.
