Near the top

More rain today. Only a little this morning, but this afternoon it has been persisting down. because I was too busy reading, I neglected to clear the back of the carport, which has been used by various workmenas a place out of the rain to store their bits and pieces. Some to go with them,and some not. Don't really know which is what, so we have made a few piles. 

The timber I have saved since renovations at the old villa is once again needing to be relocated. We have plans for it in this place.

The small glass jars we have saved are all waiting for the fruit to be available to make jams, chutneys, and even some sauce. Of course, they have also had to be relocated. Temporarily.

Before lunch I had a half hour jog, with more running than walking. Feels good. Just before reaching Huia Road, I saw a Kereru in almost the topmost branches which were more twigs by their thickness. Despite being a big bird, Kereru balanced well and ate some of the new leaves.
