River

Another beautiful day. V&P arrived late morning and No.2 was just behind. We had danish and coffee then the boys went off to play golf. We stayed home and did a long walk along the river. Quill enjoyed the water and jumped in to cool down. I’m not really a doggy person but Quill could make me change my mind! So well behaved and a lovely dog to have around.

Boys home pleased that team Creasey won - apparently on the last hole! We sat in the sun with drinks and nibbles then cranked up the bbq. Continued to talk and drink into the evening and lit the fire pit to take the chill off. This weather is so amazing and although the ground is parched means the summer has lasted forever!

Sadly No.2 decided to go back to his flat / not sure why he doesn’t like staying over? Family time is so precious and when he goes it’s cut short. I don’t know why he doesn’t feel more included? I just hope he meets someone lovely soon and feels more complete!
