Relaxing

Another scorching Sunday.

I started with a lovely refreshing swim, followed by an early trip to our local Lidl. They had some frozen clams (spaghetti alla vongole perhaps) and a couple of recommended wines. 

Home for the athletics, a gentle potter in the garden, finished my book.

As I sat on my bench, I watched the visiting butterflies, Red Admirals, a Holly Blue and the usual Whites.

Suki, meanwhile, hid in her cardboard box in the shade, with occasional brief ventures onto the windowsill.

I wonder how long this glorious weather will continue…..
