The Louvre

More sightseeing today. The Louvre is an incredible building (or series of buildings including a pyramid). Really breathtaking to look at but we didn't go inside as the weather is so beautiful. We instead explored the left bank, mostly the the latin quarter, visiting a museum of medieval art and an ancient church.

I'm fascinated by the variations of old street lights in Paris. My extras are an example of a very old one inside an archway, with some not quite as old (I don't think) traffic lights. Plus some shadow play of us on the tourist trail.
