Hardware shop

We went to Corbridge to get a new companion set for the wood burner at home. I know I could order on online but I think the way they feel in hand is important and there is a great cookshop in Corbridge that has a hardware section. We took Hetty with us and walked along the Tyne before crossing the bridge into the village. Had lunch at Spokes and having made our purchase and put in the car boot headed off in the opposite direction along the river. Dry, warm and breezy.
Corbridge is so dog friendly, nearly every table in the cafe had a dog at it, and most of the shops welcoming of dogs and well behaved humans.
Made cobbler for dinner and enjoyed a glass of red while cooking.
